Welcome to the Tune Shed

Here be all manner of tunes in the style of the Scottish folk tradition

About the Tunes

You know, people sometimes say to me, “Maestro! These tunes! You must have spent so much time composing and working them into the interesting form that we see here. How do you do it and, more importantly, why?”

All I can say in reply (and in all humility) is that, Yes! I have sweated blood and sweat and more blood over this music. You might be interested to know that one tune took me nearly eight minutes to compose and perfect before I deemed it worthy of inclusion.

As to why? I do it for you my friends!
